This was probably one of the hardest projects in terms of it's simplicity (I could not decide on what to do), Coasters are simple, but my ideas were not coming out.

For right now this is my design.

The main material that I choose was a thin piece of Plywood, carefully cut and joined together to form a smooth, durable surface for holding cups with a base. The main challenge in this project was developing a movement mechanism, the goal was for the coaster to tilt or move when pressure is applied to one side (for example, when a cup is placed on it) so that the opposite side would lift. This gravity-assisted motion concept is still being refined, as I continue to explore ways to make the movement smooth and balanced while maintaining the coaster’s stability.
